Description: When working with data, many of us use the spreadsheet to enter and organize the information we collect in the field, lab, or from other sources. Good data organization is the foundation of your research project. Spreadsheet programs are very useful graphical interfaces for designing data tables and handling very basic data quality control functions. However, many times these choices do not lead to data easily being read by programing languages such as R or Python.
The wiki contains description text to use on libraries.ou.edu calendar and notes for future revisions. Please choose the version of the powerpoint closest to the date of the workshop you attended, as we occasionally revise the documents.
