Description: This page contains materials from a MRC-NIHR-TMRP funded workshop which covered the statistical methods that can be used to estimate different estimands, including estimation methods for each intercurrent event strategy (treatment policy, composite, while-on-treatment, principal stratum, and hypothetical). The workshop materials include: (i) slides for each lecture; (ii) computer practicals, which include statistical code in Stata and R to implement different estimators, along with datasets and instructions for their use. The aim of this material is to help users understand (a) the methods that can be used to estimate each intercurrent event strategies; (b) the assumptions required for each method to be valid; and (c) the statistical code necessary to implement these estimators.
