Overview:
-------------
This paper contains four experiments, each of which is reported in two files:
Details of files:
-----------------
**1. RT and accuracy data:**
Available in files named ‘JEPLMC16_Exp*_Cueing.csv’, with * replaced by experiment number.
In these files are 6 columns.
- Subject: Subject identifier
- Face_Stimulus: Stimulus (face) identifier
- Validity: Whether gaze cue was towards (Valid) or away from target (Invalid)
- Block: The experimental block in which target appeared - there were five in total
- RT: Aggregated reaction times in milliseconds
- Accuracy: Percent correct across trials
Note that Experiments 4 and 5 are task-switching rather than gaze cueing.
As such these files are named ‘JEPLMC16_Exp*_TaskSwitching.csv’ and in these validity is replaced with Trial: Whether trial was a Switch or Repeat trial.
**2. Trustworthiness data:**
Available in files named ‘JEPLMC16_Exp*_TrustRatings.csv’, with * replaced by experiment number.
The exception is Experiment 3, where likeability ratings were collected. This is named ‘JEPLMC16_Exp3_LikingRatings.csv’
In these files are 5 columns
- Subject: Subject identifier
- Face_Stimulus: Stimulus (face) identifier
- Validity: Whether face provided Valid or Invalid cues during gaze cueing (Trial: Switch/Repeat in Experiments 4 and 5)
- Rating: Rating assigned to faces during trustworthiness judgements
- Time: Whether rating was recorded before the experiment (FirstRating) or after (SecondRating).
