<h1>A summary of the CalCOFI research data notebooks and materials housed at the Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University</h1> 18 May 2016 What follows below is a descriptive list of the CalCOFI materials that are presently located at Hopkins. Most of the sampling cruises were on the Tage, Stanford’s boat. NOTE: I have not been able to locate the field notebooks with raw data from 1969 – June 1974. We do have annual reports with the aggregated data. <h2>3-ring Notebooks</h2> Vol. 1 Coastal Temperatures: 1951-1954 - Water temperature, PSU, wind force and direction, cloud type and amount, and surf. Also includes monthly averages and graphs of monthly averages for coastal temperatures. Vol. 2 Coastal Temperatures: 1955-1965 - Water temperature, PSU, wind force and direction, sun, cloud type and amount, and surf. Also includes monthly averages, maximum, and minimum values for coastal temperatures. Vol. 3 "Tage" Field Records: 1950-1952, Stations #1-298. - Temperature, salinity, oxygen, phosphate, and silicate values recorded at varying depths. Also includes oceanographic log sheets: 1951-1952 Vol. 4 “Tage” Field Records: 1953-1955, Stations #299-528 - Temperature, salinity, oxygen, phosphate, and silicate values recorded at varying depths.
