Wiki Version:
This project contains the preregistration form, materials, data files, and syntax for our manuscript “Exploring the Relationship between Social Class and Quality of Life: The Mediating Role of Power and Status”. If you decide to use any of these files in your research please cite our publication as: Wingen, T., Englich, B., Estal-Muñoz, V., Mareva, S., & Kassianos, A. P. (2021). Exploring the Relationship between Social Class and Quality of Life: the Mediating Role of Power and Status. *Applied Research in Quality of Life, 16*(5), https://doi.org/10.1007/s11482-020-09853-y **Our files are organized in different folders:** **Folder: Preregistration** The folder “Preregistration” contains the preregistration form submitted to the aspredicted.org platform prior to data collection. **Folder: Materials** The folder “Materials” contains the Qualtrics Survey exported from the Qualtrics Survey Platform using the “Print survey” function. To avoid copyright infringement, scales used in prior research have been replaced with the relevant reference. **Folder Data and Analyses Script** The folder “Data and Analyses script” contains our raw data as exported from the Qualtrics Survey Platform as well as the prepared data that was used for analyses (with correct variable names, recoding, and exclusions). All steps for the preparation of the data, as well as all analyses reported in the manuscript, can be found in the accompanying R-script. Finally, it also includes the R output of our analyses as HTML document. To reproduce our results, you can either examine the HTML document, or you can run the analyses yourself using R.
