**General** These are the data and stimulus code from the following publication: Rademaker, R.L., Park, Y.E., Sack, A.S., & Tong, F (2017). Evidence of Gradual Loss of Precision for Simple Features and Complex Objects in Visual Working Memory. *Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance*. **Data** Data from Experiment 1 were saved out in individual Matlab files for individual participants (across testing days), which is why each participant has its own .mat file. File names are organized based on experiment and participant. So for example, the file for participant 7 in Experiment 1B is E1B_S07.mat Data from Experiments 2 and 3 have all participants in one file per experiment. The file name is based on the experiment and the participants that were included. **Stimulus Code** E1A.m and E1B.m are the original experimental code (using Matlab & the Psychtoolbox) used to run Experiment 1. Experiment 1A was ran at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and Experiment 1B was ran at UC San Diego in the USA. Monitors at both locations were gamma corrected. Because gamma correction differs from monitor to monitor, we have not supplied the gamma lookup table, thus, to run this code you want to comment out the lines where this correction is applied (and ideally replace it with your own correction). To successfully run these scripts you will need to create a folder called "Data" in the same directory from which you will run the script. Experiments 2 and 3 were run at Vanderbilt University. Matlab scripts for these experiments are stored separately in folders named "E2_Color" and "E3_Face", respectively. Inside each folder, execute Run_ColorWM.m (E2) or Run_FaceWM.m (E3) to run the experiment. Data will be stored in the folder named "Data".
