Wiki Version:
**About** The scripts provided in this repository allow to reproduce the figures of the article "Seasonal freeze-thaw cycles and permafrost degradation on Mt. Zugspitze (German/Austrian Alps) revealed by single-station seismic monitoring" by Lindner et al. (2021). **How** The scripts rely on cross-correlations computed with the MSNoise package - the used processing parameters are listed in the supporting information of the article, Table 1. Once the cross-correlations are computed, one may copy the files provided here into the MSNoise directory (the one with the db.ini file), and execute the cells of the jupyter notebook file to produce the figures. **Dependencies** - MSNoise (and pre-computed cross-correlations) - NumPy - ObsPy - NoisePy (requires the `noise_module.py` module from https://github.com/mdenolle/NoisePy only - also needs to be placed into the MSNoise directory) - Matplotlib
