## Module 1: Introduction and Overview ## In this module you will be able to describe the wide variety of types of research data, describe the research data lifecycle, explain why managing and sharing research data is important, identify intent of data policies that have been emerging, identify major government funding agencies currently requiring a data management plan, describe the typical categories of information needed to complete a data management plan and understand the support role and information professional or librarian can play in research data management planning ### Learning Objectives ### 1.
