Description: The global pandemic of covid-19 implied social isolation, impacting the health of populations. It is imperative to assess these impacts on children and adolescents. The purpose of this review is to identify and synthesize scientific evidence on the psychosocial impacts of the social isolation in the Covid-19 pandemic on children and adolescents. The search was conducted in September 2020 using the following databases: US National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Web of Science, Scopus, Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS), Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Medline, CINAHL. Gray literature was searched using: Ministry of Health, Brazilian Pediatric Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, Pan American Health Organization, and World Health Organization. It is hoped that this study will help to identify indicators for the elaboration of programs and public policies that will benefit children and adolescents in this crucial pandemic moment.
