Description: Political polarization has increased to unknown heights in recent years and liberals and conservatives seem to exclude each other from their lives. However, what happens in one of the rare moments when liberals and conservatives do interact. This project examines what happens if people are excluded or included by members of political outgroups? Do people who are excluded or included by members of political outgroups become more moderate or extreme in their attitudes and do they become more or less prejudiced towards the outgroup?
