This repository provides replication materials for the paper *Causal Effects of Affordance Change on Communication Behavior: Empirical Evidence from Organizational and Leadership Social Media Use*, forthcoming at *Telematics and Informatics*. - doi: 10.1016/j.tele.2020.101549 - doi (pre-print): 10.31219/osf.io/53pc2 Please kindly cite the paper, if you use any information provided by this repository. - `TweetIDs.txt` contains the tweet IDs of all analyzed tweets. Twitter ToS only allows the sharing of IDs instead of full datasets. The IDs were collected using a custom web scraping script which was not shared here. You can use Twitter API to rehydrate these tweets for data analysis, for example the software [hydrator][1] provided by DocNow. - `01 From JSON to DataSet.R` uses the rehydrated file (.json) and cleans it to create the dataset. - `02 Analysis.R` conducts the analysis.
