Wiki Version:
Data and code for "Exploring the anatomy of articulation rate in spontaneous English speech: relationships between utterance length effects and social factors", accepted for presentation at Interspeech 2024, 1-5th September, Kos, Greece. This repository contains two directories: `code` contains the R code used to fit the model reported in the study, as well as the code used to generate predictions from the model & create the visualisations in the paper. `data` contains sub-directories for `models` and `plots` separately. The `models` directory contains an `.rds` file which can be used to load and inspect the fitting model. The data used to fit the model can be accessed from the `data` attribute of the model.
