Description: This project is an IMLS Funded Planning Grant to coordinate distributed efforts for government data preservation. The model focuses on libraries as providers of the central, organizing structure with streamlined entry points for a diverse spectrum of participants.  At this planning event, we will develop a blueprint of the toolkit of resources for preserving and providing access to data at risk. As an additional outcome, we will share documentation of the process as a model for a distributed, collaborative, community-driven process to preserve government data.
