Description: Data for objective tracking methods and analysis of African Easterly Waves as they pass Convectively Coupled Kelvin Waves in reanalysis (ERA5) data. AEW Track data is updated on a yearly basis, typically in January of the following year. The tracking methodology and background can be found in Lawton et al. 2022 (https://doi.org/10.1175/MWR-D-21-0321.1).
