Description: This OSF project is associated with a workshop on "Data publication using TROLLing", which formed part of the META-LING 2023 symposium hosted by the Bamberg Graduate School of Linguistics. Participants learned how to publish data on the Tromsø Repository of Language and Linguistics (TROLLing), a language data repository (https://dataverse.no/dataverse/trolling). We discussed the structure and components of a typical TROLLing post and looked at how to write a ReadMe file, which describes the dataset in detail and therefore constitutes the heart of any TROLLing post. Examples for various types of language data (corpus/questionnaire/experimental data) were provided, and we walked through the submission and review process, to appreciate the linguistically-informed feedback and data curation services provided by the friendly TROLLing staff.
