Wiki Version:
Expectations ------------ *In line with the literature we expect to find an effect of ego-depletion. However, the possibility of publication bias in the extant literature likely inflates current estimates for the ego-depletion effect. In line with the results published by Sripada et al (2014) in a very similar experimental design we expect ego-depletion to primarily affect RTV and not mean reaction time. Base on this we expect to find an ego-depletion effect of around d = 0.50 for RTV and no or only a small effect (i.e. d = 0.20) for the mean reaction time.*
