Description: The aims of this study were to assess publication rate of SRs presented as abstract on the last five World Congresses on Pain (WCP), to analyze whether there are any discrepancies in methods, results and conclusions between SR conference abstracts and their corresponding full publications, to analyze quality of reporting of SR abstracts presented at those conferences using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) extension for abstracts (PRISMA-A), and finally to assess whether there are any difference in reporting of SR conference abstracts before and after publication of PRISMA-A.
