Description: ABSTRACT The study examines the determinants of school choice and the policies that can be implemented to improve Bangladesh's educational outcomes. Two main sets of communities (rich and a poor community set) from different areas were examined on their ability to choose a school for their children either in private, public, or madrasah. The school choice's main determinants are increased education demand, social-economic status, gender, religion, school quality, and school popularity. The policies which can effectively lead to a positive outcome in education systems include the Introduction of tutors in the government of primary and secondary schools; Physical decentralization and school management committee reforms and, parental involvement. Site identification, a comparison approach, a research survey, and a questionnaire were the main methods of collecting the data for analysis and conclusions. The data is to be collected from both rural and urban areas for comparison and analysis. Keywords: Bangladesh Education Policy
