Description: Many journals and funding institutes have implemented open scholarship policies with specific reporting requirements, and a key component in research reporting across the lifecycle is documentation of the planning of a research study. In order to meet reporting expectations and facilitate collaborations and dissemination of your work, pre-analysis documentation can include methods or protocols descriptions, sampling plans, instrumentation, and post-study activities. Having transparency in all the aspects of planning will enhance the value of your research collaborations and outcomes.
