After you finish telling the other members of the jury what you think happened on the night Neil allegedly raped Janine, another juror says the following:
I think that Neil is not guilty of rape. From what we heard in Janine's testimony, after having a couple of drinks at a club, Janine bumped into Neil who she knew from her previous work. He then asked her for a dance, which she accepted. On the dance floor, Neil continued to romantically pursue Janine by complimenting her and he eventually asked her to go somewhere private to "talk". I reckon this implied that he wanted to have sex. Janine then voluntarily left the bar and went home with Neil. At Neil's apartment, there seemed to be some sexual tension between both Janine and Neil, as they were flirting with each other and they eventually started kissing. When Neil started unbuttoning Janine's shirt, she didn't do anything to stop him. During sex, Janine also didn't do anything physical to stop Neil, she only said, "I think I should go home". By only saying this, I think Janine didn't make it clear to Neil that she didn't like what he was doing. So, I think Neil would have assumed Janine consented to sex because she flirted with him, she kissed him, and she didn't say no or push him away. I think this encounter is just like a normal one-night stand. So, I think Neil is not guilty of rape.
