`cchsflow` is an R library to support the use of the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) through common transformation of harmonized variables across survey cycles from 2001 to 2014. The package documentation can be found [here](https://big-life-lab.github.io/cchsflow/). This OSF project contains supporting material for the library. Information about the CCHS survey can be found [here](http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p2SV.pl?Function=getSurvey&SDDS=3226). The CCHS has a [Statistic Canada Open Licence](https://www.statcan.gc.ca/eng/reference/licence). Information for how to access the CCHS data can be found [here](https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/82-620-m/2005001/4144189-eng.htm). Canadian university community can also access the CCHS through [Odesi](http://odesi2.scholarsportal.info/webview/) -- See health/Canada/Canadian Community Health Survey. This project also provides access to several CCHS cycles to facilitate integration into the `cchsflow` library. The DDI metadata documents (XML and PDF) were obtained from [Odessi](http://odesi2.scholarsportal.info/webview/). The CCHS questionnaires were obtained from various sources and aggregated in this project to facilitate the assessment of questions across cycles. The questionnaire documents are from Odessi and Statistics Canada web archive. See the .webarchive files for the originating source of Statistics Canada files. The file format is not consistent across all survey years. `3226_Q1_V1-eng.pdf` is the original file for the CCHS 2001 questionnaire. This PDF format ended in 20013 `3226_Q1_V11`. HTML formats are available from 2009 to 2020 (and ongoing). These files are saved in html .webarchive and also as a PDF version of the .webarchive.
