This repository contains the code and data accompanying the paper: **Body shape as a visual feature: Evidence from spatially-global attentional modulation in human visual cortex** (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.neuroimage.2022.119207) Unzip the attached file. <hr> *RunThis.m* will generate all the results and figures presented in the paper. <hr> The *betas* folder contains the betas corresponding to the horizontal and vertical attention and stimulus conditions from the main task and the stimulus conditions from the baseline task, across all the voxels of the brain. Separate GLMs were executed for the locations and the tasks. The structure of the data is as follows: for subj 's', for the baseline betas, .sa.targets: stimulus condition (1-7) .sa.chunks: # of baseline run (1-4) for the main betas, .sa.targets: attention condition (1-7) .sa.chunks: stimulus condition (1-7) 1-6 corresponds to the order: bed, bottle, car, chair, lamp, human body; in the main task, attention #7 corresponds to the thickening task and stimulus #7 to the blank condition; in the baseline task, stimulus #7 corresponds to the scrambled condition. <hr> The folder *roi_masks* contains the wholebrain and other ROI masks important for further analyses. <hr> The folder *fmri_experiment_scripts* contains the scripts and stimuli necessary for running the fMRI experiment. Psychtoolbox is required. <hr> **Image dataset** The folder *image_dataset_6obj_200eg* contains 200 textured images and silhouettes of the 6 objects each. These were obtained from the SUN dataset and reproducible Google images. This dataset can also be found on Kaggle - https://doi.org/10.34740/KAGGLE/DS/2121779 <hr> The raw fMRI data can be found at the repository with the same title as the paper at the Donders Repository - https://data.donders.ru.nl/ <hr>
