Wiki Version:
This is the OSF page for the project "*The Inside Out Model of Emotion Recognition: How the Shape of One’s Internal Emotional Landscape Influences the Recognition of Others’ Emotions*". **Available resources:** On this page, you can find: - [Full Open-Access Article][1] - [Supplementary Information][2] - Openly available tasks [(EmoMap part one, EmoMap part two, ExpressionMap, Visual Matching Task, and the PLF Emotion Recognition Task)][3] - Data files ([Study One: EmoMap][4]; [Study Two: ExpressionMap Original Sample][5]; [Study Two: ExpressionMap Replication Sample][6]) - Data-processing scripts ([EmoMap part one-Step one][7], [EmoMap part one-Step two][8], [EmoMap part two][9], [ExpressionMap][10], [Visual Matching Task][11], [PLF Emotion Recognition Task][12], and [MaRs-IB][13]) - Data-analysis scripts ([facilitating multidimensional scaling][14], [random forests analysis with the Boruta wrapper algorithm, structural equation modelling and more!][15]) Important Note: Please note that 8 participants from Experiment One, and 5 participants from Experiment Two in the replication sample did not consent to their data being anonymised and made available online. Therefore, the dataset we have uploaded for Experiment One comprises 263 participants, and the dataset we have uploaded for Experiment Two: Replication sample comprises 188 participants. Therefore, the statistics reported in the manuscript (comprising data from 271 participants and 193 participants repsecitvely) may differ from any produced by analysing our uploaded dataset.
