<em> This site is designed to assist faculty in the Department of Mathematics at the University of South Carolina to use, adapt, and create open educational resources and library-licensed resources in high-enrollment mathematics courses, with the goal of making course materials more affordable for students. All promotional and instructional content is available for reuse for anyone facilitating the adoption of open educational resources. Within this site, Mathematics faculty will find:</em> <p>1. A short introduction to open educational resources (OER) and affordable learning.</p> <p>2. Explanations of how copyright and Creative Commons influence the use of OER.</p> <p>3. Resources for discovering and evaluating OER (textbooks and ancillary materials).</p> <p>4. A curated selection of peer-reviewed mathematics OER.</p> <p>5. A brief guide to customizing OER.</p> <p>6.
