## Software and Tools for Reproducible Analysis, Dissemination and Publication of Research with Interdisciplinary Teams, An Interactive Workshop **Abstract**: The practice of reproducible research allows recreation of the exact same results, and is applicable from study design to analysis and publication. For some, the bar to conducting reproducible research may seem too high. This can be caused by differing levels of technical expertise, a perceived need to switch away from preferred software, or the impression that reproducible research is an “all-or-nothing” endeavor. In this user-friendly and generally accessible workshop we will explore how to approach reproducible research: steps for starting small, expanding your capability, and both technical and non-technical strategies to help along the way. This workshop includes didactic and hands-on components to engage participants in thinking through reproducible research as it applies to their own studies. We will provide a survey of how to evaluate software and programming scripts when planning reproducible research projects. 2. Considerations include licensing, versioning, and collaboration workflows involving technical and non-technical colleagues. **9:45 - 10:05 Exercise and discussion** 1. Exercise: Apply the concepts to your projects 2.
