Wiki Version:
The Teacher Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire is an 8-item self-report rating scales for measuring teachers' job-specific wellbeing. It's comprised of two subscales: (1) School Connectedness and (2) Teaching Efficacy. Subscale scores can be used a standalone wellbeing indicators or summed to create an Overall Teacher Subjective Wellbeing composite score. The TSWQ is intended to be used for research or practical purposes as a brief measure of teachers' subjective wellbeing. Preliminary evidence suggests that responses to the measures may be valid for such purposes. Yet further research is needed to extend and generalize the validity evidence supporting the measures' technical adequacy, usability, and consequential validity in school-based practice. Following is a listing of links to papers relevant on the development and / or validation of the TSWQ: - [Assessing teachers' positive psychological functioning at work: Development and Validation of the Teacher Subjective Wellbeing][1] Questionnaire (Renshaw, Long, & Cook, 2015) - [Assessing teacher wellness: Confirmatory factor analysis and measurement invariance of the Teacher Subjective Wellbeing Questionnaire][2] (Mankin et al., 2017) [1]: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/271647733_Assessing_Teachers%27_Positive_Psychological_Functioning_at_Work_Development_and_Validation_of_the_Teacher_Subjective_Wellbeing_Questionnaire [2]: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/316711950_Assessing_Teacher_Wellness_Confirmatory_Factor_Analysis_and_Measurement_Invariance_of_the_Teacher_Subjective_Wellbeing_Questionnaire
