This page contains all supplementary materials to the paper "*The Youth Social Media Literacy Scale: Scale Development and Validation Using Item Response Theory*". To see the preregistration, go to: https://osf.io/w94nt This page further includes all materials (questionnaire, item formulations, analysis code,...) necessary to understand and rerun the analyses reported in the paper. Please note that we do not share the original data publicly due to the sensitivity of the encoded information and the vulnerability of the population. To ensure transparency, we uploaded synthetic data (a data set with similar properties as the original data set) that can be used to reproduce the results. Bear in mind that rerunning the analyses with this data set will produce *different* results!
