# About This repository stores the data and supplementary videos for the manuscript: > Wong JY, Chan BKK, Chan KYK. 2020 Swimming kinematics and hydrodynamics of barnacle larvae throughout development. *Proc. R. Soc. B*, 20201360. ([doi:10.1098/rspb.2020.1360](http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rspb.2020.1360)) # Data Raw data can be accessed under the `Files> Google Drive:Data` tab. The folders contain the data for: 1. `kinematics`: landmarks data on body positions and appendage positions, for dorsal/ventral view. 2. `vf`: velocity field outputs from DaVis for all individuals, for dorsal view and lateral view (only for cyprids). 3. `Vor`: vorticity field outputs from DaVis for all individuals, for dorsal view. # Supplementary Videos [**Video S1**](https://osf.io/24epw/): Movement tracking of swimming *Capitulum mitella* nauplius VI from ventral view (50× slow motion). [**Video S2**](https://osf.io/56cdq/): Movement tracking of swimming *Capitulum mitella* cyprid from dorsal view (100× slow motion). [**Video S3**](https://osf.io/z2jfn/ ): Velocity and vorticity fields around swimming *Capitulum mitella* nauplius VI from ventral view (50× slow motion; same individual as in Video S1). Nauplius swam in *Re* of 2.6. [**Video S4**](https://osf.io/ufx6d/): Velocity and vorticity fields around swimming *Capitulum mitella* cyprid from dorsal view (100× slow motion; same individual as in Video S2). Cyprid swam in *Re* of 4.8. [**Video S5**](https://osf.io/t23m5/ ): Separation of velocity stagnation points from vorticity maximums/ minimums in trailing viscous wake vortices of cyprid (1000x slow motion). Individual used is identical to the one in Video S4. [**Video S6**](https://osf.io/bre5g/): Velocity and vorticity fields around swimming *Capitulum mitella* nauplius III from ventral view (50× slow motion). Nauplius swam in *Re* of 0.6. [**Video S7**](https://osf.io/ms4xq/): Velocity and vorticity fields around swimming *Capitulum mitella* cyprid from dorsal view (100× slow motion). Cyprid swim in *Re* of 1.8.
