Description: **SemDis has been decommissioned and replaced by CAP (Creativity Assessment Platform) at https://cap.ist.psu.edu/ CAP provides semantic distance scoring in 12 languages. It can also administer creative thinking tasks for data collection. Note that CAP uses the Maximum Associative Distance method from Patterson et al. (2023, PACA), which correlates more strongly with human ratings on the AUT than the method described in our 2021 Behavior Research Methods paper. An archived version of the original SemDis site (semdis-archived) is available for download under "Files." To use it, download the file and follow the instructions in the readme.md file to download packages and run the app locally. This is a large file that may be slow to download and run depending on your system resources. The archived version is not officially supported but may still be useful for research purposes. We recommend using CAP for semantic distance scoring of AUT responses.
