This repository contains the pre-registration of this project (under the registrations tab) and 3 folders (under files) which include the following: - **Main Analysis**: Folder containing R-Markdown file with code, data and html files for main data analyses included in manuscript: Recall and recognition analyses, and exploratory vocabulary score analysis. - **Code_DataAnalysis.html**: HTML file version of R-Markdown file. Includes all models and figures. Use this to avoid having to download data and run the R-Markdown script. - **Code_DataAnalysis.Rmd**: R-Markdown with scripts for Main data analysis. Please make sure to have the data files in the same folder as this file if looking to run the scripts. - **Data.csv**: Data file used to run R-Markdown file. Includes recall and recognition data. - **Figures and Models folders**: Include figures and models produced by R-Markdown file when running the script. There is no need to re-run each model, the script includes code to access and load the models in the folder. - **recognition_listensay_dprime.csv**: data file containing dprime scores for participants, comparing listen and say items. - **recognition_listensay_dprime.csv**: data file containing dprime scores for participants, comparing old and new items. - **Stimuli**: - **Auditory stimuli**: Includes audio files used during experiment. - **Randomization_OSF.pdf**: File illustrating order and randomization of items during experiment. - **Visual stimuli**: Includes images used during experiment. - **Exploratory Analyses**: Folder containing R-Markdown file with code and html files for additional exploratory analyses. In order to run the code in R please save the R-Markdown file in the same folder as the "Data.csv" file in Main Analysis folder. This folder includes exploratory analyses requested by reviewers during peer-review process. - **Exploratory-analysis_age-and-language-exprience_OSF.html**: HTML file version of R-Markdown file. Includes all models and figures.
