Description: This workshop seeks to both update the community on the current progress of the NDSA Levels of Preservation Reboot Working Group as well as to provide a forum for current practice, vetting, and procedure. Participants will learn how each other are using the Levels, how and in what way they need to be updated, and the process by which the Levels of Preservation becomes a living document. In particular, we will be discussing what a curatorial overlay for the current levels might look like and how collection stewards can be enlisted in this process. One need not be using the guidelines to participate in the process and we encourage practitioners of all levels to join us in this ongoing work.
