Wiki Version:
The Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study is a long-term study of cognitive and brain development in children across the United States. A notable team of investigators, well known in the fields of adolescent development and neuroscience, has received funding from the National Institutes of Health to conduct this ambitious project. The team makes use of scientific and technological advances, allowing investigators to measure brain maturation in the context of social, emotional, and cognitive development at a level of precision only possible now. From 2016-2018, nearly 12,000 children aged 9-10 were enrolled in the study, with the intent to follow them longitudinally through adolescence into young adulthood. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://abcd-workspace.ucsd.edu/logo_ABCD_\(R\)_small.jpg
