Wiki Version:
Welfare at a (Social) Distance is a major national research project 2020-21 funded by the Economic and Social Research Council as part of UK Research and Innovation’s rapid response to COVID-19, looking at the role of the benefits system during the pandemic. You can find out more about it [here][1], and the data and user guides are also available from the UK Data Service ([SN8689][2]). Some parts of the work - looking at those NOT claiming benefits - were also funded by the Health Foundation.
