In a recent review, Van Lange and colleagues (in press) proposed that colder climates call for greater self control. In this project, we tested this idea by focusing on a variable the authors proposed (distance from the equator) and a measure of self-control, while we included other relevant social variables predictors (for the full list, see the [Human Penguin Project project page][1]).
