Description: This directory contains three R-files with R-code for each of the three Bayesian methods and examples outlined in the manuscript: Bayesian Latent-Normal Inference for the Rank Sum Test, the Signed Rank Test, and Spearman's rho Simulation results can be accessed through a Shiny app at: - https://rankbasedbayes.shinyapps.io/SimulationResultsWilcoxon/ - https://rankbasedbayes.shinyapps.io/SimulationResultsCorrelation/ Each file contains a function that takes in the data, and returns posterior samples of the relevant parameters (i.e., delta for the rank sum and signed rank test, and rho for the Spearman test). The two csv files contain the datasets used in the article as examples. The data are taken from: Thall, P. F. and Vail, S. C. (1990) Some covariance models for longitudinal count data with over-dispersion. Biometrics 46, 657–671. Cortez, P. and Silva, A. M. G. (2008). Using data mining to predict secondary school student performance.
