Description: This project introduces ChaosTick-Prime, a novel random number generator that harnesses the physical microtiming jitter of standard processors combined with mathematical normalization to achieve near-perfect statistical entropy and uniformity. Unlike conventional pseudo-random or hardware-based generators, ChaosTick-Prime requires no external sensors, cryptographic post-processing, or specialized hardware—only access to the processor's inherent timing noise. All source code, experiment data, and reproducibility notebooks are included. This work enables open, portable, and hardware-agnostic random number generation for applications in cryptography, simulation, and scientific research.
