Wiki Version:
Welcome to the Beyond the Repository Curatorial Toolkit! The goal of this toolkit is to assist cultural heritage organizations in choosing materials to send to distributed digital preservation systems, networks in geographically-dispersed locations designed to perform preservation actions. The toolkit was created in 2019-2020 as part of “Beyond the Repository,” an IMLS-funded National Digital Platform Grant ([LG-70-18-0168-18][1]). The toolkit is available in two different formats on this repository: a static PDF version containing all of the toolkit components in a single document, and links to individual toolkit components on Google Drive. The Google Drive version allows users to make copies of individual components and make any updates or revisions necessary to fit their own organizational context. Users are encouraged to submit feedback to improve the toolkit as they use it in their own practice. Have a suggestion or comment? Submit it using [this form][2]! Feedback and updates will be reviewed and stewarded by toolkit authors and the [NDSA][3]. This toolkit is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license ([CC BY-NC 4.0][4]) for use and adaptation.
