Dina Popovkina 9/4/2020 dina4@uw.edu Experiment 2 File organization The zip file titled ‘ZIPEXPT2’ contains 11 folders, one for each of the 11 participants in Experiment 2. The zip file titled ‘ZIPEXPT2CONTROL’ contains 8 folders, one for each of the 8 participants in the control condition of Experiment 2. Each participant’s folder contains MATLAB files containing trial-level data. The data files are labeled with the experiment code ‘dt7’, the participant’s initials, and the session number (e.g. dt7AA01 would be session 1 for participant AA). Included files for each participant AA: 18-55 ED: 20-57 JH: 01-42 AC: 01-15, 17-38 BP: 01-40 BE: 01-40 KH: 01-40 TT: 09-48 AM: 01-40 TA: 01-40 AR: 01-36 File numbers are in chronological order of sessions, excluding practice sessions. File numbers that are missing from a sequence (e.g., session 16 for AC) were due to failures of equipment, participants mis-entering the current session number, or a session for the control condition. Analysis and Summary Files The zip file titled ‘Expt2DataSummary.zip’ includes: Expt2_SampleAnalysis.m : a sample analysis file for Experiment 2, generating summary of performance and an AOC plot (equivalent to Fig 6 in the paper) for one participant (AA). This program was developed and tested in Matlab version 2014a. To run the program, include this .m script and the data files to be analyzed in the same folder, and set that folder to be current on the Matlab path. Expt2Summary.xlsx : a table summarizing the data for each participant in Experiment 2.
