Wiki Version:
In the present study - Diversity and selection of surface marine microbiomes in the Atlantic-influenced Arctic - we investigated the diversity and richness of microbial communities across a spatial transect from southern open-water Barents Sea to heavily sea-ice covered central Nansen Basin. The aim was to asses the environmental and spatial factors governing the microbial community composition and structure. This data is provided to increase the understanding on how the influence of Atlantic water impacts microbial community ecology. These materials are provided by the Microalgae & Microbiomes Research Group (M2RG) at UiT - The Arctic University of Norway. All data, calculations and figure generation scripts linked to R markdown are found under the project files of Diversity and selection of surface marine microbiomes in the Atlantic-influenced Arctic.
