Description: A report by the International Resource Panel which investigates the contribution of material efficiency in homes and cars to climate change mitigation. The report consists of a review of the literature, a modeling exercise including model development, and a policy review. The full report was released at the Race to Zero Dialogue of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in November 2019. A Summary for Policy Makers was launched in December 2019 at the Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in Madrid. The United Nations Environment Programme contains the report, and the documentation of the model and data is hosted by zenodo. Preprints of derivative papers are hosted on socarxiv. New: Preprint of global results (2020 model run) and release of the full report.
