Wiki Version:
This repository contains ground penetrating radar data intepreted for the paper "Deciphering a Timeline of Demise at Medieval Angkor, Cambodia using Remote Sensing" currently In Press for Remote Sensing. The complete citation is Klassen, S.; Attorre, T.; Brotherson, D.; Chhay, R.; Johnson, W.; Moffat, I.; Fletcher, R. Deciphering a Timeline of Demise at Medieval Angkor, Cambodia Using Remote Sensing. Remote Sens. 2021, 13, x. https://doi.org/10.3390/xxxxx The GPR survey was undertaken with a MalÄ X3M GPR with a shielded 500 MHz antenna. In total four lines (10, 17, 21 and 42) were collected in opportunistic locations where the vegetation was clear. The GPR data was collected using a sampling frequency of 7883.53076 MHz, a time window of 109.595565 ns, 934 samples, a trace increment of 260 traces/m and 0 stacks per trace. GPR data were processed and interpreted using Radan software. Data were processed using a sequence of processing steps, including a time zero, high and low pass filtering and gain. Some lines were additionally processed using deconvolution or a Hilbert transform. Hyperbola fitting was undertaken for each line to estimate the relative dielectric permittivity.
