The files presented here are the data files for the manuscript *Increased perceptual distraction and task demand enhances gaze and non-biological cuing effects*. This has been accepted for publication in Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology. The Author copy of the publication can be found [here][1]
The data for each study is presented in its raw format, and in the processed format analysed for the manuscript. Both csv and txt file formats are provided.
The raw data files contain the RT and accuracy data for each trial. Trials are presented in the order seen by the participant and each trial type is noted - see data dictionary.
For each participant, the processed data files contain: Median RTs for correct response trials and accuracy data. These are presented for each of the experimental conditions
Please note, for the manuscript, participant 29 from study 1 was excluded, and participants 108, 117, 122 and 125 were excluded from study 2. These are included in the uploaded data sets.
Participant 140 in study 2 was tested by an RA, but should not have been included in data collection due to being aged over 60.
