Wiki Version:
In this *Analysis* component, we show you how to preprocess and analyze the data using either R (with RStudio: https://rstudio.com/) or Jamovi (a free alternative to SPSS etc.; jamovi.org). **Simulated Data Generation:** We are using simulated fake data that should have the same or a similar format as your data (that you get from your survey platform). You can find this fake data set in the *Simulated Data* folder in the *sim_data_troy.csv* file. You can find a report (pdf or html) on how we simulated the data in the *Simulated Data* folder. If you know R, you can also open the .Rmd file (which is the same report) and run the code yourself to generate your own data set. ### Data Analysis in R ### The instructions on how to score and analyze the data can be found in the reports called *R_AnalyzeData_Troy* (in pdf, html or Rmd format). You can simply read through the pdf or html files for an overview of analysis steps taken to reproduce the findings reported in the paper. You can also use the Rmd file to run the code with your own or the simulated data. You can find a video walking you through the R Script in the [Video Tutorials][1]. ### Data Analysis using Jamovi ### The instructions on how to score and analyze the data can be found in the report called *Jamovi_AnalyzeData_Troy.pdf*. You can find a video walking you through the R Script in the [Video Tutorials][2]. [1]: https://osf.io/me9r3/ "R Tutorial" [2]: https://osf.io/bq23a/ "Jamovi Tutorial"
