Description: This series of studies examines how individual differences in self- and other-oriented motivational orientations are associated to the extent to which people engage in prosocial and antisocial behaviors. We examine hypotheses that self-focused orientations positively predict engagement in both types of behaviors, whereas other-focused orientations positively predict prosocial behaviors, but negatively predict antisocial behaviors.
