Description: Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) is a condition with high prevalence and incidence in general population. The clinical expression is wide, ranging from asymptomatic or with reticulating veins to recurrent venous ulcers. The analysis of the psychometric properties of health-related quality of life questionnaires in patients with CVI is necessary in order to assist as a good tool in clinical practice and in the scope of research. Searches will be made at MEDLINE, CINAHL, Science Web, LILACS and Scopus databases, using the terms “Venous insufficiency”, “Quality of Life “Chronic venous disease”, “HRQOL”, “Chronic venous disease”, and “Varicose veins”.
