Description: This communication proposal aims to demonstrate the elements that allow the Vitam software solution to ensure the preservation of digital data and archives. Indeed, the development project of the software solution Vitam follows a storymap modelled on the OAIS and including preservation features. Current developments therefore use tools implementing preservation functions (Registry, identification and validation of format). To ensure the robustness of the system and to secure archives, a particular care is taken with storage management features. Finally, the technical choices of an open source software and a distributed architecture make it possible to ensure more durability of the software.
