Wiki Version:
This repository contains scripts for processing and analysing results collected by an online study on timbre visualisation. An article describing the motivation and design of our study is currently under review. The source code for our online study is hosted on github : https://github.com/NECOTIS/timbre-visualisation-study ## Data pre-processing Our study is built using the [JATOS framework][1], which allows you to download collected data in a text file. We provide a python script for extracting relevant information from this text file and exporting it to .csv files for further analysis. ## R notebooks We provide R notebooks that contain useful functions for visualising and analysing results produced by our study. ### HTML notebooks We also provide pre-generated html versions of the notebooks for our collected data. These allow you to inspect the results without having to install R and run the scripts. ## Datasets We collected 3 datasets from 3 distinct studies described in the article. For the moment, we are still in the process of communicating with our ethics committee in order to obtain the permission to release our collected data publicly. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of our collected data, you may contact us privately. [1]: http://www.jatos.org/
