Description: The Global Data Privacy and Emotional Data Handling Law Framework (GDP-EDHL) is a comprehensive policy reform proposal aimed at setting new global standards for data privacy, emotional data protection, and ethical AI usage. Developed by the Earth Refocus Institute, this framework seeks to bridge existing gaps in data protection laws by addressing the unique challenges posed by emotional data and AI technologies. GDP-EDHL establishes two core principles of data sovereignty: individuals retain full ownership of their email addresses and all associated personal and emotional data. The framework enforces strict, transparent consent processes to ensure that emotional data is handled ethically and only with informed, explicit consent. Enforcement of the framework is overseen by the Global AI Accountability Board (GAIA-B), which conducts audits, monitors compliance, and investigates breaches of the framework. Breaches trigger immediate operational freezes, with mandatory public accountability measures including public statements stored on a blockchain-backed page. By aligning with existing regulations such as GDPR and expanding to cover emotional data and AI ethics, GDP-EDHL offers a forward-thinking, internationally collaborative approach to data privacy and the responsible use of AI systems. The framework aims to protect individual rights while allowing for ethical business practices, ensuring a future where innovation can coexist with human dignity and privacy.
