Overall readme explaining the two separate folders.
This code is an implementation of an optimal control theory model of the rodent compensatory eye movement system and is fully described in the paper.A neuroanatomically grounded optimal control model of the compensatory eye movement system.
Holland et al.
There are 2 subfolders to this project.
1- Data Analysis - takes raw data and produces bayesian estimates
2- Model Analysis - Runs the model simulation and compares the ouput to the bayesian estimates from the first folder. Also reproduces all figure in the paper
NOTE: the bayesian estimates (the final output of the script 'makeDataAndFits.m' in 'Data Analysis') is duplicated in the other folder (BayesFittingSPFC-10kSamples-final.mat). Therefore there is NO need to download or execute the code in this folder if you do not require to see the raw data or regenerate the fits.
There are more detailed readme.txt files in each folder.
Help documentation for each of the functions is provided within them, any bugs or questions please contact Peter Holland p.holland@erasmusmc.nl.
We make use of several File Exchange contributions (files are included in subfolders) and are thankful to the authors, original licenses are included where provided.
