Description: Oral side effects are a common adverse effect associated with nicotine replacement therapy.There are various forms of replacement therapy including gels, chewing gums and patches. These produce significant adverse effects in the oral cavity such as ulcers and mucositis. This meta analysis is aimed to analyse the oral side effects of all nicotine replacement therapy and the factors related to therapy that increases the occurrence of these adverse effects
